Tip 1: How to make a bird feeder
Birds - very independent creatures, and it is impossible to tame a wild bird. But to care for feathered friends is quite real: it is only to place in a convenient place trough and bring there grain or bread.
You will need
- The feeder can be constructed from
- -the tree;
- -packets-tetrapakov;
- -Plastic bottles.
- To fix the trough on the tree will require a thin, strong twine.
Instructions
1
In order to make a feeder, takea plastic bottle with a volume of 1.5 liters. Tighten the neck of the lid. With a thick needle, pierce the neck of the bottle in two places and draw a strong thread or a thin string through the holes. Leave loose the ends of the rope, 30-5-cm. In the bottom of the vertically placed bottle, cut out the "thumbnail" the size of the palm. Cover it with adhesive tape so that the birds do not get injured by sharp plastic. Do not throw away excess plastic, but cover the bottom of the bottle with the inside. The fact is that the grain in the trough will accumulate in the "dimples" at the bottom and become inaccessible to large birds. To stick food from the flat bottom of the feather will be much easier. Take the feeder to the park and tie the threads to a thick branch of the tree. Pour food onto the flat bottom of the bottle.
2
The feeder can be made from other materials. Take a paper bag from under the milk or juice (tetrapack). The upper part of it should be hermetically sealed, so use bags with a neck and lid. At the bottom of the bag, leaving 2 cm from the bottom, cut out the palm-sized window. There are two such "entrances" in the trough in the paper bag: so more birds can simultaneously peck your food.
3
You can make a wooden feeder. Take two identical wooden plaques: sturdy, but thin and light. Instead of wood, you can use textolite sheets or thick plastic. Drill a hole 4 holes in the corners of each sheet, receding from the edge of 3 cm. Take the rope and insert it into the holes. Tie the strong knots under each hole: they will hold the bottom of the trough. Insert the same ropes into the holes of the second sheet, having tied the knots on the ropes at a distance of 20 cm from the bottom sheet. Put the knots on the "roof" of the feeder and reinforce the material with knots. Make sure that you have the ends of the rope about 15 cm long. Tie these ends to the tree on which you want to place the feeder. Keep in mind that this house for birds is unstable, in the windy weather, food from it can fly away.
Tip 2: How to make a bird feeder from a bottle
With the arrival of the first frosts, it is necessary to take care of the birds, because it is difficult for them to survive in the conditions of a real Russian winter. Take care of the birds, make them with your own hands trough, it's so easy to do at home from a conventional plastic bottles.
