How to rebuild a well
How to rebuild a well
Well constructed on the territory adjacent toto a country house, can become a convenient source of water supply. But sometimes in the functioning of the well there are problems: pressure is lost, siltation occurs, dirt and sand appear. In this case, it will be necessary to carry out work to restore the well.
You will need
- - a wooden pole;
- - shovel;
- - a scoop with a long handle;
- - chemical reagents;
- - professional equipment for drilling;
- - water pump.
Instructions
1
Identify the type of problem that relates towell. External signs of failure of the water supply system can be different. This is usually the appearance along with water of silt, sand and dirt particles. It may also be premature to turn off the pump, which is associated with a drop in pressure. Most often, such difficulties arise when the well is not used for a long time, the soil is depleted or foreign objects enter the well. In more rare cases, the cause of siltation is the movement of the terrain.
2
Perform an external inspection and diagnosis of the conditionwells. In difficult cases, it may be necessary to invite specialists for this. They will be able to explore the well using the most advanced equipment, assess the structure of the internal cavity and select the appropriate method of recovery.
3
Choose a recovery method based on the datadiagnostics. A complex of cleaning works usually includes cleaning the trunk of silt, mud, rust, salt deposits. In the overwhelming majority of cases, failure in the operation of the well is associated with colmatation, that is, siltation of internal porous soil layers. In this case, the pores in the soil are closed, which almost completely eliminates the appearance of water in the well.
4
Perform work with the selected methodrecovery. In the simplest case, you will need to mechanically clean the borehole from foreign objects, bring mud and silt to the surface. For more complex problems, special chemical reagents or a powerful hydraulic shock should be used. All work must be done carefully to prevent collapse of soil layers adjacent directly to the well.
5
Test the cleaned well tomake sure of its normal functioning. For this purpose, the pump is lowered into the borehole and water is pumped until it becomes transparent and free of foreign inclusions and visible impurities.
