How to restore Mozilla Firefox
In the browser options Mozilla Firefox providesthe ability to back up bookmarks, but sometimes this is not enough. In some cases, for example, after reinstalling the system, not only the addresses of the desired sites are lost, but also cookies, certificates, passwords, history, user styles. In order to restore Mozilla Firefox, you can use a special program - MozBackup.
You will need
- MozBackup application.
Instructions

Install MozBackup on your computer. To do this, visit the official website of the program and select the version of MozBackup you want to use on the opened page. Click the Download link in the corresponding line and select the directory to save the file, wait for the download to finish.

Create a backup of the profile from whichthe future will be restored. To do this, unzip the downloaded archive and run the MozBackup.exe file. A new dialog box opens. Read the information on the first page and click Next. Select the Backup a profile action and the version of Mozilla Firefox. Make sure that the browser window is currently closed.

Click Next and specify the path to save.file with a backup copy. If necessary, set a password for it. On the next page, mark the fields you need: history, bookmarks, certificates, saved passwords, and so on. Click Next and wait for the program to complete the copy operation, and then click Finish.

To restore Mozilla Firefox againrun the MozBackup application. On the action selection page, set the marker in the Restore a profile field, click Next and use the Browse button to specify the path to the backup file. Select the components you want to restore by marking them with a marker and go to the next page. The Mozilla Firefox restore operation will begin. Wait for it to finish and click Finish.
