To avoid this, since January 2014 the law on the provision of public services in electronic form to the population of Russia has come into force.

The government set the subjects of the Russian Federationpriority tasks, according to which it was necessary first of all to translate into the electronic form the main state services. In the past it was planned to expand their list. An important point in the introduction of electronic services was that in this way they should become more transparent and open to people, eliminating the corruption component.
Municipal services in electronic form shouldprovided at both the municipal and regional levels. However, at present, not all regions of the Russian Federation are connected to Rosreestr. And in those for which the provision and reception of electronic services is available, serious improvements are required both in the number of services transferred to the electronic form and in the quality of the information provided.
