Tip 2: How to connect two parts of a movie

Many video files are divided into separateItems for writing to DVDs or transferring over a network. The problem is that storing and, moreover, carrying a large number of fragments is not always convenient. In such cases, the process of gluing fragments is used.

You will need

- VirtualDub;
- Total Video Converter;
Adobe Premier.

Instructions

To work with avi files, a free VirtualDub utility is suitable. Download this program and install it. Start VirtualDub.

Open the "File" menu and select "Open Video File". Wait until the specified fragment is downloaded to the program. Now open the "File" menu again.

Select "Add AVI segment". After downloading the second item, press Ctrl and S. Select the folder to save the whole video file and enter its name. Press the Ok button and wait for the fragments to be connected.

If you need to change the file format before connecting, use the program Total Video Converter. Run this utility.

Click the New Task button and go to stepImport File. Specify the path to the first fragment of the video. Now select the format in which this file will be converted. Move the slider to High Quality to save high quality images.

Repeat this algorithm to load the second element. Use the same format that you selected for the first file. Check the box next to Combine Files after Convert.

Check the settings for processing elements and click Convert Now. Wait for the utility to perform the necessary operations.

To connect two video files of different typeswithout converting, use Adobe Premier. Start it and open the "File" tab. Click the "Add" button and select the first fragment. Similarly, add a second video file.

Now, in the "File" tab, select "Save", specify the parameters of the final video, and click the Ok button.
