Use sterile jars with screw caps. Fill them to the brim and tighten with a hot lid. Turn over the jar and leave overnight. Keep in a cool place away from light.

Jam from red berries with strawberry liqueur

For 4 or 5 jars:

  • 300 g of strawberries;
  • 300 g of raspberries;
  • 300 g of red currant;
  • 300 g of sweet cherry;
  • Juice of one lemon;
  • 800 g of granulated sugar;
  • 70 ml of strawberry liqueur.

Wash and dry the strawberries, cut into halves. Sort out the raspberries, not mine. Peel the currant from the twigs and rinse. Wash the cherry, remove the bones and twigs.

Put the fruit in a saucepan with granulated sugar,lemon juice and 400 ml of water. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 20-25 minutes, thoroughly mixing. After checking the readiness of the drops on the plate, remove from heat and add the liquor. Spread on jars immediately.
