To determine if there are dyes in the natural candies you bought, take a tablespoon of the product and dip it into a glass with water. Leave the candied fruit in the water for 10-15 minutes. If after this time you notice that the water has colored, and the product itself has become less bright, a dye was added to it when cooking. In addition to dyes, candied fruits are also often added with various flavors, which give the product an unnaturally saturated smell. Try to buy candied fruits in a sealed package, not by weight.
