Download the instructions from the Internet orfollow the advice of specialized literature. Buy all the necessary components for the manufacture of aqualung: balloon, reducer, pulmonary automaton, hose, main and reserve regulators and the compensator of buoyancy.

Prepare the cylinder. Its volume can be either 7-18 liters or 20-22 liters, depending on your preferences. You can use 2 cylinders of 4.7-7 liters each. Buy a 200 bar barrel if you are planning to do normal diving, and buy a 300 bar tank if you are engaged in technical diving.

Prepare the gearbox. The pressure on which the gearbox is designed, should be the same as in the tank, when choosing a gearbox, be guided by the scope of the aqualung. Connect the reducer and the cylinder. Air should be fed from the balloon into the gearbox, the reducer should lower the pressure to the middle (intermediate). Make sure that this pressure is 6-11 bar higher than the ambient pressure.

Install the buoyancy compensator. Although this part is not necessary for the proper functioning of the aqualung, it will make the diving procedure easier and safer. Pump oxygen tank and check the assembled structure. If all of its elements are attached correctly and the scuba is working, do the first test dive to a shallow depth. Principle of operation of oxygen stations

The standard oxygen station representsa whole complex of aggregates, united within a single technological cycle. This complex includes a filtration station, an oxygen concentrator, a high-pressure compressor and refueling columns. A separate item in the list of components of the oxygen station is a connecting armature. Pre-filtered and drained air flows through the oil-free compressor into the oxygen concentrator. In it, it passes through a cylinder filled with a special synthetic silicate - a zeolite. This substance at high pressure passes through itself only oxygen molecules, while retaining the remaining gases and water vapor. Most of the filtered oxygen enters the storage receptacle, while a small amount of gas is ejected through the sorption filter, blowing the impurities back into the atmosphere, after which the cycle is repeated again. From the receiver-store the oxygen enters the distribution system of pipelines of the filling complex under the action of a high-pressure compressor. Through flexible hoses and adapters, it is pumped into cylinders for 15 minutes to several hours.
