Tip 1: How quickly conception occurs

Conception is a fusion of sperm and matureovules. An obligatory condition is ovulation, because during this period the egg enters the fallopian tubes, where fusion with the sperm occurs.

How quickly conception occurs

How long does it take to conceive?

There are two points of view about the moment of creationnew human life. Some believe that it begins at conception, according to another version it is believed that this is the first day of the cycle in which the egg was fertilized. During the menstrual cycle, ovulation occurs once, so the fertilization of the egg is possible once during 25-30 days. The egg can exist only a day after ovulation, if at this time conception does not occur, the woman will be able to become pregnant only in the next cycle. Upon entering the uterus, the spermatozoa remain alive for about 7 days. Thus, a sexual act a week before ovulation can lead to conception. Ovulation can take about two weeks before the end of the menstrual cycle. To accurately determine the day of conception, you need to know exactly when it will occur. It is impossible to calculate the exact moment, you can only approximately calculate the day of ovulation, if you follow the previous cycles and make a test. If the sexual intercourse occurred during the period of ovulation or several hours after it, the time of conception will depend on the speed of movement of spermatozoa. On average, it will be 50 minutes. Consequently, during the period of ovulation, fertilization occurs about an hour after ejaculation. Thus, conception is possible in the period from one hour to a week after sexual intercourse.

Artificial insemination

In cases of female or male infertility, conceivethe child is assisted by artificial insemination. This technique is based on the fact that the contact of eggs with spermatozoa for the purpose of conception passes in the laboratory. Before taking eggs, a woman undergoes a course of treatment that stimulates the maturation of several follicles. Then an analysis is made, confirming their development. After this, a puncture is performed, during which the needle is inserted into the abdominal cavity under ultrasound control through the vagina, with the help of which the contents of the follicles are taken. Spermatozoa are taken from the sperm sample. Eggs and spermatozoa with the optimal degree of maturity are placed in a nutrient medium that promotes spontaneous conception. The next day they are studied under a microscope to identify fertilized eggs. Further, several embryos are inserted into the uterus, so that one of them is implanted. As a rule, three embryos are transferred, and the rest is frozen. The procedure is carried out when the embryo is performed from two to six days. The success of conception in a test tube now reaches 30-35%, this technique is quite lengthy and time consuming.

Tip 2: How quickly a baby is conceived

Conception is a biological process, withwhich begins the pregnancy. As a result of conception, a fetus appears in the womb of the woman, from which a fully-fledged, viable human individual will form.

How quickly is the conception of a child

In ordinary consciousness, conception is oftenidentify with sexual intercourse. Given that the sexual intercourse takes several minutes, conception is also considered a "minute affair". Such a conception does not correspond to reality: conception is a relatively long process that does not coincide in time with sexual intercourse, the result of which conception is. The concept includes three stages: fertilization, crushing and implantation.

Fertilization

The main content of the fertilization phase is"Meeting" of the sperm with the egg. It occurs about 2 hours after the sperm enters the vagina - this is the time it takes a sperm to get to that part of the fallopian tube that is directly adjacent to the ovary, there is a ripe egg. When the sperm enters the egg, its shell collapses, a zygote occurs - A special cell with two pronuclei (nuclei having a single chromosomal set). The process of convergence of pronuclei, ending with their fusion, takes more than a day - 26-30 hours.

Splitting up

The content of the stage of fragmentation is the division of the zygote andthe subsequent division of daughter cells, each time the daughter cells are smaller than the parent cells. The cells formed at this stage are called blastomeres. The crushing step lasts several days. A "significant event" occurs on the 4th day, when the number of blastomeres reaches 16: cells that have not yet differed from each other, are differentiated for the first time - some cells form an embryooblast (the prototype of the embryo), and others - an outer layer that on the 5th day forms a spherical shell. So there is a blastocyst, which will develop a few more days.

Implantation

While there is a crushing, the blastocyst does not remain onplace: the contractions of the fallopian tube gradually move it towards the uterus. It can be said without exaggeration that this way is difficult and dangerous: only one embryo out of ten is capable of surviving it! That's why women sometimes have a delay of a month, after which pregnancy does not follow. Before the uterus, the fetus will get on the 11th day after fertilization. Now he must attach to the inner shell of the uterus - the endometrium, this is called implantation. To do this, the envelope of the embryo must break, after which it will have finger-shaped processes. This process takes about 40 hours. Thus, the total duration of conception in a person - from the beginning of fertilization to the completion of implantation of the embryo into the uterus - is approximately 12.5-13 days, almost two weeks.
