A complaint is a request of a citizen (citizens) to protect or restore his (their) violated rights, freedoms or interests. Complaint on investigator usually written in the case of an investigator committing an unlawful act or unreasonably prolonging an investigation.

If you are not satisfied with the actions investigator, write a complaint that must be sent to the prosecutor's office, to the head of the investigative body or to the district court in which the preliminary investigation takes place.

Please note that the complaint must becontain: an indication of the body or official to whom you are sending it; your full name and postal address, signature and date of circulation. If necessary, attach documents and materials on your case or their copies.

In the complaint, be sure to include all the information relevant to your case: - when exactly you applied to the investigation department - on which article a criminal case was initiated - with which decision investigator you do not agree, for whatever reason - when you learned of the decision by the investigator decision - described in the following request to invalidate the decision investigator on the basis of Art. 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Submit your complaint in person or by mail. If you decide to file a complaint in person, write it in two copies. Give one copy to the prosecutor's office, and on the second, ask to sign a complaint. If you send a complaint by mail - send it by valuable or registered mail with a request for notification to your address.

Wait for notification of the judicialThe hearing of the complaint submitted by you, within 3 days from the moment of its submission. In exceptional cases, the complaint can be considered later, but not later than 10 days after the filing.

Complaint about investigator can be sued by you (the applicant), your legal representative or a lawyer.

Keep in mind that reviewing your complaintmust be held in open court. At the same time, you, your representative and the investigator, to whose actions you made a complaint, must be present. The court can both recognize the appealed actions investigator unlawful, and deny you the satisfaction of the complaint.
