What does biology study

As a science biology studies the origin, and alsostructure and life activity of living organisms inhabiting the planet Earth. Moreover, biology is considering the issue of their relationship both with each other and with the environment.

Biology is a science that studies all life on Earth

1

Biology is a science that studies living nature. In addition, it includes the laws governing this very nature. This includes the study of structures and origin, as well as the study of the growth and functioning of living organisms. Do not forget about their evolution. The basis of the whole biology is made up of such fundamental principles as cell theory, genetics, homeostasis, energy and evolution. This science allows people to accumulate knowledge about the phenomena occurring in the living world, and also store them on those or other carriers, using as necessary. As a science, biology is divided into three large sections.

2

Anthropology. This section of biology studies a person. Anthropology considers human origins and development. Moreover, it describes its existence in natural and cultural environments. In turn, anthropology has several subsections. For example, philosophical anthropology regards man as a special kind of being, and religious anthropology studies a person in the mainstream of theology. There is also a so-called physical anthropology, which includes forensic anthropology and paleontology. Social and cultural anthropology are sciences that are close to ethnology, and consider human society at different epochs and times.

3

Botany. This section of biological science studies directly plants: their development, reproduction and life activity. Botany, in turn, is divided into several subsections. One of them is systematics. The systematics of plants divides them into different groups, establishing a certain system of their names and clarifying the existing family relations between them. Another subsection of botany is the ecology of plants. He studies their relationship with the environment. In turn, a subsection called "plant geography" examines their distribution throughout the Earth.

4

Zoology. As can be seen from the title, this biological section studies representatives of the fauna, i.e. animals. In zoology, as in anthropology, and in botany, there are subsections. The systematics of animals deals with the distribution of all living creatures that live on the Earth, according to generally accepted specific systematic units: by type, by class, by family, by genera, by species, by subspecies. The morphology of animals studies their internal and external structure, and embryology - the development of their embryos. The physiology sub-division studies the nature of animals, their normal and pathological life, and zoogeography studies the distribution of living things around the world.
