When re-sealing the seams, start by removing the old sealant and mold. To do this, using a knife or spatula, remove from the wall lime deposits, dried drops of detergents and films. Close the gap. The distance between the wall and the bathroomcan be insignificant or can reach several centimeters. If the slit is small, use antibacterial silicone. Insert the tube into the construction gun and gently, in one step, fill the gap along the entire perimeter. Immediately after that, smooth the fresh seam with a soft brush. To do this, moisten the brush in a soapy solution, lightly apply it to the silicone and slide in the same direction throughout the seam.

Select the method of termination. Eliminate widethe gap between the wall and the bathroom can be differently: with the help of construction foam, self-adhesive curb, plinth of plastic (fillet) and ceramic curbs. Sealing will be more reliable if carried out together with facing works. If you replaced the plumbing equipment after repair, seal the gap using a fillet - a universal finishing material.

Close the wide gap. Measure the sides of the bathroom andcut several pieces of skirting. Form the corners at 45 degrees and sand them with sandpaper. Take one of the parts and apply liquid nails to the inside. After 2 -3 minutes, firmly press the part against the slit. To make it the necessary configuration, leave it for a short time in the future place. Separate the plinth from the wall for 2 -3 minutes and press firmly. Do this procedure with all the details, paying special attention to the connection of the corners. After the glue has dried completely, apply silicone sealant to the jaw adjacent to the wall and the edge of the bath and smooth the seam.
