How to make an electric hot plate
To make the simplest and at the same time productive electric hot plate for a dacha it is possible, using ordinary bricks. The main thing: to strictly observe all fire safety measures.
You will need
- - a piece of nichrome wire or a spiral of nichrome;
- - electric cord with a plug;
- - two bricks;
- - Tin;
- - Screwdriver.

Take a half-meter metal roda diameter of 5-7 mm and a prepared piece of nichrome wire. Having bent one end at a right angle, fix the rod so that it does not rotate around its axis. Screw the wire on the rod under tension, laying the coils close to each other. This way you will get a spiral, the length of which should be 25-30 cm.

Take two whole, without cracks and chips,brick and combine them flat on a flat surface. This will be the table of the future electric hot plate. Apply a pencil on the total surface of the bricks to a snail for a spiral. While wetting the drawing line with water, a metal rod, for example a screwdriver, select the groove in the bricks. Its width and depth should fully contain the spiral and not allow direct contact with the bottom of the vessel being installed.

Cut out of a tin strip a width of 6-7 cm and a length,enough to girdle the bricks. The ends of the ribbon bend at right angles and cut, leaving the ends at 2 cm. Make two holes in them. Squeeze tightly the bricks with the resulting bandage and fasten with bolts and nuts, paving the washers on both sides. The junction of the ends of the shroud should be on the exit side of the ends of the electric spiral.

An electric cord with a plug can be assembled, andYou can use it from a burnt out boiler, an electric iron, an old electric stove. Such good is usually enough for storerooms and storerooms. Connect the cord with a spiral on the screws. Collect it on the ebonite pad, or using a ceramic shoe from any electrical appliance, picking up the most convenient position for it. Fasten the shoe, using the bolts on the shroud plate, ensuring immobility.
