- - metal spatula;
- - hot water;
- - a sponge, a foam rubber roller or a spray gun.
Instructions
1
In many cases, heavy wallpaper (vinyl or non-woven) simply leave the wall themselves. Therefore, to begin with, try cutting with a knife or a metal spatula a line along which wallpaper are adjacent to the ceiling. Pick them up on the edge and pull yourself - it is possible that in this way you will be able to remove, if not the whole strip, then its most. You can also try to pick up wallpaper along the junction line.

Vinyl wallpaper consist of two layers - the bottom one (paper) consists of paper, and the top one is a polyvinyl film, the surface of which is patterned. In order to remove such wallpaper from the wall, you can divide them into layers. Make an incision with a knife or spatula, try to separate the vinyl layer - and tear it from the substrate. After that, only paper will remain on the wall. You can get rid of it using the technology used for paper wallpaper (moisten with warm water or a special tool to remove wallpaper, wait 5-10 minutes and remove from the wall with a spatula or a stiff washcloth).

If wallpaper tightly adhere to the wall, and separate the vinylthe layer fails - it is necessary to use a more laborious method. The first thing to do is to destroy the vinyl cover by scratching it. This can be done with the help of a kitchen knife or office, but you can use special devices - for example, a roller with nails, so-called "tiger wallpapering" or cycle. After this, abundantly moisten the wall with hot water or a means for removing the wallpaper. This can be done with a spray gun, a sponge or a foam roller. Wait for the water to soak, then repeat the procedure and wait 10-15 minutes. During this time the moisture will penetrate through the scratches in the vinyl coating, soak the paper layer - and wallpaper will easily move away from the wall.
