You can grow your cucumbers even in an apartment if you create the right conditions.
To grow cucumbers in your apartment should beobserve certain rules. 1. Buy only self-pollinating seeds (hybrids). 2. Put the seeds in opaque disposable cups to a depth of 1-2 centimeters. As soon as the shoots appear - transfer the cucumbers to a cooler place. 3. After 3 weeks, cucumbers, together with an earthen lump, are transplanted into flower pots with a volume of at least 6 liters. At the bottom of these pots, put drainage. Put the pots in a warm place (at least 20 degrees) 4. In the pots, stick the pegs and pull the ropes that lock at the top of the window. This is the future support of your cucumbers. 5. Water the plants only with standing water every day or every other day. Make sure that the soil does not dry out, but it is not too wet. After each watering, do not forget to loosen the ground slightly. 6. Once in two weeks, feed cucumbers with fertilizer for pumpkin crops or fermented banana skins. When a fifth leaf appears on the plant, water it a little less often (1 time in 2-3 days). This will speed up the formation of flowers. In order for the ovaries to form faster, collect the cucumbers when they reach a medium size. Do not wait until they become big. 8. If you find white dots or a thin cobweb on the bottom of the cucumber leaf, treat the plants with such a composition: cut a quarter of a bulb into small pieces, fill with a liter of hot water and insist in a dark place for 2-3 days. The cucumbers are very delicious, only they need constant care. But the result is worth it.
