How to Patronize Cucumbers in a Greenhouse

In a greenhouse cucumbers are grown on trellises in onestem. Thus, they will occupy more useful space, and will not spread along the ground, as in the open ground. But this is not the main thing, but the fact that if you grow varieties with male and female flowers, timely pasynkovanie will quickly appear lateral shoots with female flowers. And this will speed up the appearance of the first cucumbers. So, what should you do? After you have planted cucumber seedlings in a greenhouse, take care of them until a fourth leaf appears on the plants. Then pinch all the flower buds around it, as well as the side shoots. Next, you need to tie the cucumbers in the greenhouse to the trellis. To do this, pull the wire on top and tie the pieces of string to it, for which the whips will be held. After the appearance of 5, 6, 7 leaves, the cucumber in the greenhouse needs to be changed differently. On the lateral shoots leave 1 ovary and 1 leaf, then pinch the shoot. Do not forget to wrap the growing whip around the twine tied to the trellis. When the 8, 9 and 10 sheet appears, again prick the side shoots in the sinuses, but now leave 2 cucumbers and 2 leaves. Finally, after 11 leaves, remove all ovaries except 3 cucumbers and 3 leaves on each shoot. In this case, the whip already reaches the wire, stretched along the greenhouse. Fasten it, wrap it around a couple of times, let grow the main shoot about half a meter, and when new ovaries appear, leave them and cut off the top of growth. Periodically check all the whips for the presence of new lateral shoots, if they appear, cut off at once. Leave them not worth it, even if there are flowers and ovaries on them. All this will create additional stress on the main stem, and will create shading in the greenhouse.
