First of all, you need to remove the old chandelier,if there is one. To do this, it is necessary to de-energize the electricity supply to the apartment. If there is a certainty that a phase wire goes through the switch through the switch, then you can turn off the power simply by clicking the switch. Then the old chandelier is removed and cleaned. From the hole in the ceiling must hang a hook and stick out two or three wires. The number of wires depends on the number of switches on the switch and the presence or absence of a grounding conductor.

2

It is necessary to find out which of the wires arephase. To do this, turn on the power supply and touch a screwdriver-indicator to the tip of each wiring. A lighted bulb indicates the presence of a phase. Remember the colors of their isolation. Typically, the neutral wire is blue, the ground is yellow-green or green, and the phase conductor is red, brown or white. But in houses with old wiring, the colors of the insulation of all the conductors can be the same. Once the phase wire is recognized, electricity can be turned off.

3

The installation of a chandelier depends on its design. Most often it is hung on a special hook, after which all the disconnects are produced. But there are models that require screwing the base of the luminaire directly on the slab. To do this, you must attach the base to the ceiling, making sure that it is located exactly at the center, and mark the pencil drill site. It is necessary that they are at a sufficient distance from the ceiling opening, otherwise during drilling, the concrete can crumble and fix the lamp will not be possible. After marking, holes are drilled, into which the dowels are mounted.

4

Connecting the wires to the luminaire, best of allby means of special terminal clamps. If they are not included in the chandelier, they should be bought. The ends of the wires must be stripped to a length of about 1 cm. On the wires or terminals of the luminaire, there must be a marking where the phase conductors, zero and ground are connected. Follow these instructions and connect the wires according to the diagram. Tighten the wires in the terminal blocks as much as possible. To check the quality of the contact, you can try to pull out the postings. If this fails, then the contact is reliable.

5

After disconnecting, the chandelier hangs on the hook orits base is screwed to the ceiling with screws. All unnecessary wires should be hidden in the ceiling hole. In the end, the chandelier is hung with plafonds, decorative elements, screwed light bulbs. After that you can turn on the power and check the work of the lamp.
