Chavy Niva is an abbreviated name for a compactSUV Chevrolet Niva, which is produced in Togliatti at GM-AvtoVAZ, owned by the American company General Motors. In September this year will be ten years from the beginning of the assembly of this car, and in the summer the company has updated about the beginning of the release of its new modification.

The first external difference of the new Chavy Niva, which catches the eye - the presence of "snorkel", i.e. made on the roof of the air intake, necessary to overcome water obstacles. There is a new model and a lining on the body - "railing" - from the model "luxury". Other differences from the LC version include a bracket for fixing the front winch, additional protection for the front axle and engine gearbox, as well as the fork with the rear bumper. In this modification, an external antenna is provided, supplemented with an antenna cable. The car will be produced in four colors ("Milky Way", "Auster", "Sochi", "Quartz") and be equipped with off-road tires Continental Conti Cross Contact AT 215/65 R16 on wheels with black alloy wheels Kamelot Black 7Jx16H2. The recommended price for the new modification of the crossover is 499300 rubles. It should be noted that in the first half of 2012 GM-AvtoVAZ produced 28% more cars than in the same period of the previous year. Sales figures grew by about the same amount, and for export 1386 crossovers were sent (an increase of 31.6% compared to last year's figures).
