1
If the car alarm is not installedtriggered when you turn on or off, without responding to the key chain, check the serviceability of the latter. Disassemble the key fob on a clean flat surface, so as not to lose the small parts. Unscrew the fixing screw on the cover with a screwdriver and remove it.
2
Replace the battery under the coverhousing. Assemble the device and check it in operation. If the cause was in the battery, the alarm will again work properly. The discharge of the battery is indicated by a decrease in the brightness of the LED and a reduction in the range of the device when controlling the alarm.
3
If the LED is bright enough, butthe alarm does not respond to pressing the buttons of the remote control device, check the operation of the car alarm system (AOS) installed in the car.
4
Remove one of the terminals from the battery. After a while, attach it again. This measure often allows the alarm system to return to operational status. Press the remote control button and check the operation of the system. If the alarm is triggered, secure the terminal securely. If necessary, repeat the disconnection of the terminal again.
5
If there is no power in the alarm systemcheck the condition of the fuse and the condition of the wire coming from the positive terminal of the battery. If necessary, replace the wire and the fuse.
6
Also check the operation of other electrical appliances in the vehicle. If there are any problems in the power supply system, check the fuses in series and replace them with good ones.
7
Use to monitor the power systemtester or a light bulb from a flashlight, equipped with a battery. Check the reliability of the contacts in the power circuits. If necessary, repair the broken connections. Make sure that after the power circuits are restored the alarm system works properly and "responds" to the key chain.
