Before installation economometerand select a location on the dashboard. Responsibly consider this issue. The device must be clearly visible and not obstructed by the steering wheel and other controls. If the car is old and the installation of a new device disrupts the originality of the instrument panel, place it on the nominal place of any other device that is less necessary than economometer.

Remove and disassemble the instrument panel if you decide to install economometerbut instead of another device. To remove the dashboard and correctly set it back, be sure to read the instruction manual. Take the device from the VAZ-2105 and carefully disassemble it.

The body of the device is mounted on the intended placeinstallation. If there is a need, modify the case and the installation place so that it can be put inside. Secure the appliance with self-tapping screws.

Produce a piece of thick sheet metal special bracket that could be attached to the torpedo under the steering column and fastened on it economometer and other additional devices to be installed. For example, a mechanical manometer from KamAZ and a voltmeter from UAZ. All of them are made in the same style and in harmony with each other.

Econometter connect to the drain plug of the intakecollector. Screw in place a L-shaped choke from the carburetor, and into it - a union with a copper tube, on which you put the hose. As the latter, use a special thick rubber hose from the vacuum-corrector of the trambler. Transparent hoses that are sold complete with instruments are unreliable, and can deform from the heat of the collector and vacuum. Slide the hose into the engine compartment under the steering column.

If you do not want to use the plug to connect the device, drill a single hole and cut the threads in it with dies. Then screw into it a carburettor fitting and put a hose on it.
