Instructions

1

Choose a women's consultation in which youwould like to lead a pregnancy. It is not necessary to register with the medical institution to which you must be registered. You can also be observed at the place of actual stay. By law, you are required to provide services free of charge in any state specialized institution in Russia, but in practice you may have problems if you want to attach to a women's consultation in an area in which you are not registered and do not live.

2

Determine the duration of your pregnancy. For this, remember when was the first day of your last menstruation and count how many weeks have passed since.

3

Think about when it's best for you to register forpregnancy. If you plan to conduct all planned tests and studies, you should attach to the selected women's consultation no later than 10 weeks of pregnancy, since the first scheduled ultrasound in the women's consultation is carried out for a period of 10-12 weeks, and the recording on ultrasound is usually in 1-2 weeks . However, if you are worried about something, you feel the pulling pains in the lower abdomen or you have bloody discharge, immediately consult a specialist. To rule out ectopic pregnancy, you can register for pregnancy and make ultrasound for 5-6 weeks. An experienced doctor, even with a routine examination, will be able to determine whether the fetus is in the uterus cavity, and ultrasound examination will show the baby and will allow to check his heartbeat.

4

Attach to the women's consultation. To do this, you will need to present a compulsory medical insurance policy, as well as your passport. Most institutions are also asked to provide copies of these documents. In the registry you will be asked to write an application to the chief doctor of the women's consultation with a request for attachment. After this, you will be issued a usual outpatient card and sent to the gynecologist. When the doctor confirms that you are expecting a child, you will also get a special card, where you will make all the information about how your pregnancy is taking place. If you have previously been observed in another female consultation, it is advisable to detach from her and take out from there your outpatient card or an extract from it. In the future, to receive a generic certificate, you will also be asked to present the SUNS, so you can immediately bring this document or begin to issue it, if you do not have it.
