Choose time for lessons together. For example, if a child starts his favorite cartoon at 6 o'clock - give in, but within reasonable limits.

Help when it is required, but do not do everything instead of the child.

First praise - then criticism. For example, first tell the child that he is a good fellow, wrote everything without errors, but if he tried to do without corrections, it would be great

Never raise your voice!

Homework is always better to start with an easier material.

Do not hurt. It is better to read a little material in which you are going to help in order to properly teach it to your child.
