How to clean your computer of viruses

Start by checking the status of the hard driveAnti-virus program installed on your computer. It is worth noting that this procedure is better performed in the safe mode of operation of the Windows operating system.

Restart the computer and wait forOS selection menu. If the system boots automatically, shut down the PC incorrectly. To do this, press and hold the power button.

In the menu that appears, select the "Windows Safe Mode" field. Select the startup type "With support for network drivers". Open the antivirus program menu and go to the Scan section.

Select all available partitions of the hard drive. Click the Scan button and select the Deep Analysis mode. If a malicious file is found, select "Disinfect" or "Repair".

If the program was unable to perform the specifiedclick the "Delete" button. Use the described algorithm to handle other malicious objects. It should be noted that the bulk of virus files with the extension .exe should be deleted immediately.

After checking the antivirus software used, install the program intended for express scanning of the computer, for example Dr. Web CureIt. Download this application from the official website.

Run CureIt using Safe Modeoperating system. Open the "Settings" tab and set the scan parameters for the hard disk. If you can leave the PC for 2-3 hours, activate the advanced analysis function.

Return to the main menu and press the "Start" button. After the first message about the malicious file appears, click the "Delete" button, by checking the box next to "Remember action". Restart the PC after the application is shut down.
