A certain part of mobile computerssold with preinstalled operating system. Find the Windows sticker on the underside of the laptop and check the operating system version. The thing is that if you install an OS of a different version, you will not be able to use the provided license key.

Download the image of the boot disk with the requiredversion of Windows. Clarify the system capacity. If you do not find the information you need, determine the bit depth yourself. As a rule, if more than 3 GB of RAM was initially installed in the mobile computer, then the manufacturer used a 64-bit OS. You can also use a universal disk containing all available versions of Windows Seven.

Create your own installation disc. To do this, save the downloaded image to a DVD-ROM drive using the available programs, for example Nero Burning ROM. Insert the received disk into the drive of the mobile computer.

When using netbooks, use an externalDVD-drive. This equipment, as a rule, connects to the USB ports of laptops. Turn on your laptop and press the key you need to call up the boot device selection menu.

Highlight the Internal / External DVD-Rom field and pressthe Enter key. Wait for the files to be installed to install the operating system. In the first menu, click the "Install" button. Select the version and system width if you are using a similar disk. Click "Next".

Click the left mouse button on the local disk,on which the operating system is located. Click the "Format" button located in the "Disk Setup" submenu. Now click "Next" again.

After a while, the laptop will automaticallyrebooted. Remember that all subsequent launches must be performed not from the DVD, but from the hard drive. Fill in the suggested menus as they appear. Initially, enable the firewall and the operating system update service. Do not forget to set the password for the administrator account.
