How to put the server on a hosting
At the end of the basic work of creating a serverthere comes the stage of placing it on the Internet. For this there are special services - hosters that provide the necessary services for the round-the-clock server connection to the network.

Register the server domain name.The second level domains include two parts, and the third level domains - respectively, three parts. The ability to create third-level domains is available to all second-level domain owners, which is why it is often provided with free hosting.

Determine which project you need.disk space before sending the site to the server hosting. After choosing the right traffic and paying for it (if you are planning to host the site on a paid hosting), start installing the site on the hosting.

Try to install the server on a hosting whenusing an FTP client, for example, through the TotalCommander program. FTP is a data transfer protocol: it allows you to transfer, copy, and transfer data to the Internet.

Install on your personal computerTotalCommander application and run it to connect to the server via FTP. Find the "Connect to FTP server" button in the toolbar and click on it. You will see a window in which you need to click on the “Add” button, after which the “Setting up an FTP connection” will start.

Specify the required data in the fields “Account”, “Server”, “Login” and “Password”. Put a tick in the field “Passive exchange mode”. After clicking OK, return to the “FTP server connection” tab.

Click on the "Connect" button toconnect to the server hosting. The window that appears on the screen will contain two columns: the left one with the files on your computer and the right one with information on the hosting. To copy files to a server from a PC, simply transfer them to the opposite column.

Install the server on a hosting using a browserwith FTP support, for example, Internet Explorer, which has a simple and intuitive folder interface. In addition, this can be done through the hosting control panel.
