Modern recording software allows you toto copy information from one disk to another, without wasting the time to transfer information to the computer. However, for this you need two DVD drives.

Connect to your computer two DVD drives,to copy a DVD. Turn on the computer, make sure that they are determined by the system and in good order. Run the Nero program to generatecopying of disks. Insert the disk from which you will copy the information to the first drive, remember its name or write it down. In the second drive, insert an empty DVD-R or DVD-RW disc. In the main menu of the program, select the option "Favorites", and then the command "Copy DVD", then in the Nero Express window set as the source drive the drive in which you have the recorded DVD-ROM, then select the drive with a blank disk, in the field drive-receiver. Press the "Options" button to view additional information about copying a DVD. In the next field, select the recording speed of the disc, it will depend, first, on the disk reading speed in the source drive, and secondly on the maximum write speed for the disk in the second drive. For best results when copying discs in Nero, select the minimum recording speed.

Then select the option "Check data afterwrite to disk "so that the program checks the quality of the information recorded. Close any unnecessary programs to speed up the recording process and click the "Copy" button. The process of copying can be tracked by the status bar, it will show the current operation, the percentage completed, and the time remaining until the disc is copied. After completion, both discs will be removed from the drive.

The Nero program exists in several versions,issued in different years. However, its latest releases are not necessarily the best and most convenient. If you are interested in fast and convenient burning of files to a CD, it is advisable to use an older version of Nero - for example, the sixth one. Download and install the program on your computer. Start Nero StartSmart by clicking the shortcut on the desktop or selecting the desired item in the list of programs: "Start" - "All Programs" - Nero - Nero StartSmart. In the window of the running program, select the type of the disc to be burned, usually a DVD. Then select the menu item "Data" - "Create Data DVD".

In the opened Nero Express window, click the button"Add" and go to the folder with the video files prepared for recording. It is most convenient to write files in the format * .avi or * .mpeg, when you start such a disk on the DVD-player you will see a list of files and you can start any of them. After selecting the desired files, click the "Completed" button, then click "Next". Insert a blank disc into the drive, after checking the program, click the "Record" button.

To write files of the format *.VOB applies a slightly different recording order. After launching the program, click on the lower part of the icon to go to the advanced mode. After that, select "Photo and video" - "Burning DVD-video files". In the window that opens, specify the folder with the * .VOB, * .BUP and * IFO files. As a result, a VIDEO_TS folder with these files will be created. The finished project will only be written to disk.

In that case, if you need to copyCD, launch Nero in the standard mode and select the menu item "Copy" - "Copy DVD". A window opens in which you need to specify the source drive and the destination drive. If this is the same drive, you do not need to specify anything, it will be selected automatically. Insert the copied CD into the drive and click the Copy button. After the original disk is copied, you will be prompted to insert a blank CD into which the copy will be written.
