How to download songs for Guitar Hero 3
Guitar Hero 3 - multifunctional guitarsimulator. In addition to the standard songs offered in the application by default, you can also add your own tunes. To do this, you need to use a special melody decoder.
Instructions

To set your own ringtones, you needa specialized utility-editor GH3 PC Editor. Download this program from the Internet and unzip it to any directory on your computer. Also download Lame audio decoder in Lame.exe format and MP3Info utility.

Copy the received Lame.exe and MP3Info into the directory with the unpacked GH3 PC Editor. Then run the program using the songlist_editor.exe file.

In the window that appears, select File - Open. The program will automatically open the directory where your Guitar Hero is located. If this does not happen, specify the path to the program. Usually it is located in the C: - Program Files - Aspyr - Guitar Hero III directory of the computer. Press Ok and wait until the list of available songs is updated.

Click on the Insert Song button in the lower leftcorner of the program window, then specify the name of the future song. In the Guitar Track field, insert your melody, specifying the path to its file in mp3 format. Do the same operation with the items song and rhythm. Also specify the path to the midi file of the song in the program window.

Enter the artist name in the Artist field. In the Songname field, specify the real name of the melody. After all settings are completed, press Ok and wait until the save procedure is complete. After its completion, you will see the added melody in the general list of songs.

Go to the Edit Setlist tab - Bonus Songs. In the Songs Per Tier line, click once on the up arrow to increase the number of songs used in the program. At the end of the list that appears, select the name of your added song.

Go to the Song section, select the melody that you added again, and press Ok. To save the result, select File - Save.

Open the game and go to the Options - Cheats menu. Double click on the green button in the game window, and then go to the QuickPlay - Bonus Songs section. At the end of this list, you will see the song you just added, which will be available for study.
