Which language is the most difficult, and which one is the easiest to learn?

Learning foreign languages opens up newcareer prospects, gives the opportunity to watch movies and read books in the original, understand the meaning of the songs, and just train the memory. However, not all languages are studied with equal ease - among them there are very simple ones, and those that are extremely difficult to study.

Which language is the most difficult, and which one is the easiest to learn?

The most complex languages

One of the most complex languages isChinese. Each word is designated in it as a separate symbol, after learning which, you still have no idea how it is pronounced. The complexity is represented by a huge number of homophones - words that are equally pronounced, but written differently and denote different concepts. Tonal system in Chinese also does not simplify the task for the student. In addition to the general intonation of the sentence, each syllable is also pronounced with a different tonality, on which the meaning of the word depends. The Japanese language, by its complexity, is not much inferior to the Chinese. Knowledge of symbols also does not give an idea of their pronunciation. In Japanese there are three systems of writing: a kanji using Chinese characters, a hiragana used to write grammatical particles and suffixes, and katakana to denote borrowed words.
It is believed that students who study Japanese spend three times as much time as those who learn English or French.
Arabic also causes a lot of difficulties. Vowels are not used in writing, and consonants have four variants of writing, depending on their position in the word. Nouns and verbs have to be studied in a single, dual and plural. The nouns themselves have three cases and two genera, and the verb in the sentence is placed before the predicate.
The dialect of Arabic is also of great complexity, which can differ as much as modern European languages differ from one another.

The Easiest Languages

Despite the fact that in English there isa lot of nuances (for example, words are often not read as they are written, but the mass of verbs conjugates incorrectly), it has a simple grammar. In addition, in everyday life people often encounter English in songs, films, names of brands and products on supermarket shelves. Learn this language more closely will not be so difficult. Spanish is also very simple to learn. Pronunciation is very similar to English, however, unlike the language of the United Kingdom and the United States, in Spanish spelling of words coincides with their pronunciation. The structure of sentences in this language is also easy to learn. For a Russian-speaking person, the study of other languages of the Slavic group will not be difficult, and the closer they are to their native language, the easier it will be for them to study. The most quickly you can learn Ukrainian and Belarusian, somewhat more difficult - Bulgarian and Czech. The Polish language is not considered simple - it has seven cases, and the grammar is replete with exceptions to the rules.
