Flights to the Moon: why they stopped
Flights to the Moon: why they stopped
The famous lunar race ended with the victory of the United States -American astronaut Neil Armstrong descended to the surface of the Moon in July 1969, the Soviet Union had to accept defeat. The United States could begin a full-scale study and development of the Earth satellite, but flights were for some reason stopped.
Victory in the lunar race was given to the US not easily - they wereTens of billions of dollars were spent, three astronauts were killed in preparation for flights. And when, finally, the goal was achieved, and the flight technology was completely worked out, the program of flights to the Moon was suddenly turned off. It was not just unexpected, but also economically impractical. At the very least, another flight could have taken place, to which everything had already been prepared. That the flights to the Moon were so suddenly stopped, gave rise to a lot of rumors and speculation. One of the most interesting versions is related to the information that the Americans, having flown to the moon, found that it is already occupied. By whom? Beings other than the human race. Simply put, aliens. At first they watched with interest the attempts of earthlings to land on the Moon, but when the activity of Americans became too high, they were asked to leave the Moon and not to return to it again. If everything was so, why did the US leaders so unhesitantly agree to this? The answer is simple - the level of technological development of aliens was so much greater than the terrestrial that it was pointless to fight with them. That is why the Americans hastily curtailed the lunar program and did not return to this topic. The Soviet cosmonauts did not begin to land on the Moon, although the technical capabilities of the created H-1 missile made it possible to fly to the Moon. Yes, the USSR lost to the Americans in the battle for the Moon, but even the second landing would still be very prestigious. However, the Soviet lunar program was also curtailed. Of course, it's not easy to believe in the version that Americans met aliens on the Moon. But no matter how fantastic she looked, there is enough evidence in her favor. These are photographs from the lunar surface, on which incomprehensible luminous spheres are visible, and strange conversations of astronauts with NASA, intercepted by radio amateurs. Finally, astronomers have repeatedly recorded in telescopes the facts of movement above the surface of the Moon of large objects. Many of them appear from the lunar craters and disappear in them. Evidence for this accumulated so much that the talk of aliens who forbade the earthmen to step on the lunar surface, no longer seem so incredible. Official versions of the termination of flights to the Moon are very simple. In the US they said that the goal has been achieved, the Americans have several times visited the natural satellite of the Earth and in the continuation of the program it makes no sense. The leadership of the USSR stated that flights to the Moon are very risky, therefore, in the Soviet Union, priority will be given to the exploration of the Moon by unmanned vehicles. It is worth noting that in recent years a number of countries, including Russia, have declared their readiness for the development of the Moon. So the lunar epic, started in the seventies of the last century, has every chance to be continued in the coming years.
