Tip 1: The role of sociology in the modern economy

If the economy as a science, was born and developedtogether with production relations since the XIX century, sociology in this capacity was recognized only in the twentieth century. But soon after that, it became clear that the sociological and economic phenomena are inextricably linked, their influence and dependence on each other. Currently, these relationships are being studied by a new science - economic sociology.

The role of sociology in the modern economy

Sociology as a science

The object of sociological research issociety, a single organism, consisting of many social groups. She studies these social groups, the processes occurring in them, the interaction of social and personal structures and factors in specific conditions of place and time. Knowledge of the basics of sociology is necessary for management, allowing the authorities to act consciously, scientifically justifying their activities and predicting its possible consequences. The subject of studying sociology, in accordance with the requirements of the time, gradually became wider problems related to the way in which the external factors, including political and economic factors influence the society. But sociology and the results of its research, as for any science, only then represent real value when they are not distorted under the influence of any considerations, political, ethical, etc., however good they may be. Only in this case it will be possible to obtain objective and impartial results that can be used in areas adjacent to sociology, the same economy.

Sociology and its role in the economy

Today, the importance of sociology in the economy as ais never high, which is why there was a natural fusion of these two sciences, the result of which was the emergence of a new discipline - economic sociology. Now, economic processes are studied and predicted taking into account social aspects, and social processes are considered as a result of economic development in the conditions of market relations. Ultimately, such an integrated approach makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of economic activity in the region and the country as a whole, the effectiveness of management decisions and improve the conditions and quality of life of the population. The study of the influence of social relations in the labor and production sphere, in the field of the institution of property, distribution, exchange and consumption, as well as the study of the social consequences of the development of these relations, makes it possible to reveal the general macroeconomic patterns of the functioning of the economy. These patterns are now used for economic modeling and forecasting throughout the world. Sociology is used to study not only global economic phenomena. With its help, the types of economic behavior and interaction of different social groups of society - participants in relations in various spheres of the economy - are modeled. Knowledge of sociology is necessary for predicting economic behavior, depending on the role function performed by a particular social group: investors, taxpayers, insurers, consumers, investors, etc.

Council 2: What is the world outlook role of science

Science performs several significantfunctions. In the modern world it becomes an important factor of progress, it plays the role of a consolidating force in the society. The knowledge of the essence of the phenomena of reality, combined in a single system, also shapes the person's world outlook.

What is the world outlook role of science

Instructions

1

Under the worldview understand the interconnectedsystem of views and perceptions of a person about the world that surrounds him. In the broadest sense, the worldview is philosophical, social, political and aesthetic views, acquired by the individual on the path of life. This set of views underlies the belief system that influences the perception of events and phenomena of the surrounding reality by man.

2

The basis of any outlook is philosophicalviews. Since the emergence of Marxist science, it is commonly believed that the outlook is built on an understanding of the so-called fundamental question of philosophy. Depending on the answer to the question of what is primary - matter or consciousness, an idealistic or materialistic worldview is distinguished. Differences between these two positions form two different life approaches to explaining the nature of any phenomena occurring in nature and society.

3

Philosophy plays a special role in the development ofworld outlook. The sciences that enter into it become the core around which a system of views of the world is formed. Knowing the principles and general patterns of phenomena revealed in the course of the centuries-old development of philosophy, a person consciously assimilates a certain ideological position: idealistic or materialistic. A person can also stand on a dual position, called philosophical dualism.

4

Idealism is not always based on recognitionthe existence of God, the ruler of the world. He can also recognize the presence of an intangible force that does not have a personification. In turn, a materialistic worldview may not fully reflect the diversity of connections between objects and phenomena of reality. The materialist worldview becomes scientific only when using the dialectical method, which is based on the idea of unceasing development.

5

Another source from which originatesworld outlook - the results accumulated in the natural sciences. A real breakthrough in the field of natural science occurred in the XIX century, when scientists first collected and systematized data obtained during observations and experiments on natural objects. This information, designed in the system, contributes to the formation of a truly scientific worldview both among natural scientists themselves and those who use scientific knowledge in everyday practical activities.

6

Not the least role in shaping the world outlooksocial sciences play. Systemic study of history lays the foundation for a proper understanding of the processes taking place in society. Sociology provides an opportunity to understand the patterns of interaction between individuals, large and small groups. Comprehension of the laws of the economy makes it possible to compile a holistic view of the complex economic processes that affect the development of civilization.
