Find out where the nearest school is to you,which prepares jewelers. One of the most famous educational institutions of this profile is the Tsarskoselskoe College of Art Processing of Metals, located in the Kostroma Region.

Get initial training in drawing. In this you can be helped by training in a children's art school or private lessons from educators-artists. Also, you may find it useful to prepare the preparatory courses for the chosen school. They are short-term - for 2 weeks, and long-term - for 9 months. Training on them is paid, but there is a plus - nonresident applicants who have already finished school can get a place in the hostel.

Prepare the necessary documents for admission. If you go to the school after the 11th grade, you will have to present the results of the Unified State Examination in the Russian language and literature. Also attach to the documents a medical certificate, passport-type photographs, a certificate of general or complete secondary education, as well as 3-4 samples of paintings.

When approving your candidacy, hand inentry exams. These include such artistic disciplines as drawing, painting and composition. Graduates of the 9th class also pass tests on the Russian language and literature.

If you get positive grades in the exam, but the shortage of points, go to the training on a contract basis.

If you already have an art education,go through accelerated training in jewelry. Usually it is also organized on the basis of colleges. Such training is carried out only on a commercial basis and takes a year.
