You will need



  • - two satin ribbons;
  • - universal adhesive (transparent);
  • - a pair of clothespins;
  • - scissors;
  • - lighter.

Select two narrow satin ribbons. The main requirement: that one of them was light, the other - dark, and their colors blended well not only with each other, but also with the color of your hair.

Near one edge of the rim (aboutone and a half centimeters) put both strips on each other, cross-wise. Secure them with a clothespin in such a way that the length of the free tip of one of the tapes is enough for the edge winding. Begin winding the rim, alternately passing the ribbons one under the other and tightening. You will get a pattern in the form of small multi-colored triangles. Their appearance will depend on the angle at which the satin ribbons were originally placed.

Bringing the winding almost to the end of the rim,secure it with the second clothespin. Measure out the same piece of the ribbon that goes to the edge of the edge, and cut off the excess. Glue the second tape to the inner side of the rim, carefully cut it. To the tip of the tape is not disheveled over time, gently ignite it with an open flame (it is most convenient to use a lighter for this). Remove the clothespin, gently wrap the edge of the rim, including its butt, and also glue the tip of the tape to the inside. Try so that it is well stretched, gently scorch its tip. Then do exactly the same procedure with the opposite end of the rim.
