Cake soufflé with a layer of orange jam
A cake with a layer of orange jam is a culinary masterpiece that you can be proud of. It is prepared very simply, but the taste is simply superb!
You will need
- For the cake:
- - 100 g of butter, sugar;
- - 100 ml of milk;
- - 4 yolks;
- - 1 cup of flour;
- - a bag of baking powder.
- For cream:
- - 300 g of sugar;
- - 200 ml of milk;
- - 100 g of oil;
- - 4 proteins;
- - 15 g of sheet gelatin.
- For glaze:
- - 2 tiles of bitter chocolate.
- For interlayer:
- - orange jam or any other sour jam.

Prepare the dough for the cakes. Whisk yolks with sugar with a mixer. Add milk, melted butter, flour. Enter the baking powder for the dough, mix.

Bake the cake for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees. Then leave in the oven with the door ajar, so that the cake is cold.

For gentle cream-souffle gelatin fill with milk,leave for 15 minutes. Rub the oil with sugar, whisk at low speed. Gradually enter the milky gelatin mixture. Whip the whites separately with granulated sugar. Mix both mixtures, whisking until a thick cream is formed.

Cut the finished cake into 2 pieces, sprinkle with orange jam. Put the cream soufflé on top, cover with the second crust.

Melt 2 tiles of bitter chocolate on waterbath, fill with the resulting glaze cake-souffle with a layer of orange jam. Cool for 1 hour in the refrigerator, then serve.
