Wash the potatoes thoroughly, let it dry a little. Then cut each potato into halves.

We proceed to the fat. It's good if you manage to get the fat with the meat layer. First, clean it of excess salt, then cut into thin slices. The thickness of each piece of fat should be from 3 to 5 mm.

Put salt in such a way that it was convenient to dip the potatoes, cut in half. Squeeze the garlic using a garlic press.

Now let's take the potatoes. One half of the potatoes are dipped in salt, rub the second with garlic. Between the two halves, lay a slice of fat. Wrap the potatoes in a foil. If you cook on the grill or in the oven, then 2 layers of foil is enough. If you plan to cook potatoes on the coals, then make sure that it is wrapped with three or four layers of foil, otherwise the dish may just burn.
