How to cook cottage cheese on your own
Cooked meals are usuallytastier and more useful than purchased, especially with a long shelf life. And when it comes to feeding the kids, I want everything to be only natural. And if the preparation of children's vegetable purees does not raise questions, cooking the cottage cheese at home seems difficult. But this is not so.
You will need
- - milk
- - water
Instructions
1
Pour fresh milk into a small pan and leave to sour at room temperature for a day or a day, depending on the temperature in the kitchen.
2
When the milk turns sour, pour more water into the pan and put it on a big fire. In it we put a saucepan with milk, covered with a lid.
3
Heat the milk for 10-15 minutes. It should become warm, it does not need to be boiled. In the process of heating, milk and cottage cheese are formed from the milk.
4
Remove the pan from the fire and flip the contents of a small saucepan on a sieve or gauze. Thus, on the sieve you will have cottage cheese, and the serum will merge.
5
After cooling, the curd can be eaten. It turns out very soft and gentle, like a baby's curd, and not at all sour.
