In wired and wireless Telephones Panasonic KX-T series rarely breaks down electronics. Much more often in such a device the keyboard wears out. To restore it, the device will have to be dismantled.

Disassembly is subject to the node within whichthere is a keyboard. In the case of a wired phone, this is the base, in the case of a cordless phone, a handset. Disconnect the first type device before servicing from the telephone network and the power supply unit (if it is), remove the batteries (if any) from it. In the second unit, turn off the handset, and then remove the battery from it.

Using a screwdriver with a cruciform sting,Remove all screws from the disassembled assembly. Some of them are under stickers, which will have to be removed or pierced. Please note that after the violation of any seals, you will lose the right to warranty repair of the phone, so during the warranty period, instruct it to repair the warranty workshop staff. If the screws have different lengths, draw their location. In the event that, after turning off all the screws, the case still does not open, look for the hidden screws in the battery compartment. On the tube you will additionally gently unclip the latches.

Take a photo of the keyboard. Remove the card that is pressed against it. Separate the figured rubber sheet, on which pushers and button connectors are formed. Pull out the buttons. Wipe the contact areas of the board with alcohol and allow it to dry completely. Rubber sheet and buttons themselves put in a weak solution of detergents for several hours. After this, rinse them with running water, and then completely dry, without trying to speed up the drying with a hairdryer.

According to the photo you madeplace the buttons in the holes of the case. Cover them with a rubber sheet, replace the card and fix it with screws. Reassemble the handset or the base in the reverse order.

Restore all connections, set backremoved batteries or batteries, depending on which machine you disassembled. If necessary, register the handset of the cordless phone on the base. Make sure that the speaker, microphone, and bell still work in the device. Check the keys - now they should work clearly.
