Download the latest version before flashing itsoftware, available for HTC Sensation. To download, you can use the resources dedicated to working with the software for this phone. After downloading the appropriate archive with the firmware, unpack it using the program-archiver, into a separate folder on your computer.

Download the Android SDK from the official Android website. Install the received software package using the installer. If HTC Sync is not installed on your computer, install it on your computer. A package of all necessary drivers for flashing is shipped with it.

Put the phone in Fastboot mode. To do this, turn off your HTC, and then remove the battery and reinsert it into the unit. Turn on the smartphone while holding down the power button and the side volume down key. Wait until the boot options menu appears. Among the suggested options, select Fastboot with the volume buttons. Confirm your choice by pressing the top power button.

Connect your smartphone to the computer and waitunpacking the necessary drivers. Run the adb.exe program, which you can find in the folder with the program for managing Android (Start - Computer - "Local disk C:" - Program Files - Android - SDK - WindowsPlatform - Tools - ADB). To start adb.exe, click on the right mouse button on the file and select "Run on the command line".

Type the query fastboot oem get_identifier_tokenand press Enter. Copy the resulting key on the official HTC website in the unlock section of the device, you will need to complete the registration procedure to access it by filling in the required fields. After going to Step 10, paste the copied code from the command line into the appropriate section and click Submit.

Your phone will receive an unlock code in the formatunlock_code.bin. Download this file and put it in the same directory where adb.exe is located. At the command prompt, type fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_code.bin. If the operation was performed correctly, you will see a corresponding message on the screen of your device. Select Yes.

Then enter the queries:fastboot flash recovery.imgfastboot flash system.imgfastboot flash boot.imgfastboot flash userdata data.imgfastboot reboot After you enter these commands, the device will be rebooted and the new firmware will be installed on the device.
