What to do when water gets into the phone
If the phone accidentally hit the water - for a coupleseconds, it can turn into an ordinary piece of plastic with useless glands. To prevent this from happening, follow the steps when water enters the phone.

Open the back cover of the phone, remove the battery and SIM card. If the back cover does not open - just turn off the phone. So you reduce the probability of a short circuit.

Put the phone on the towel and wait for it to dry completely. It is advisable to place the towel on a warm battery.

Wait 5-6 hours. If the phone does not work, try to completely disassemble it and carefully wipe the components with a dry cloth. It is also possible to treat the parts with alcohol, since alcohol well displaces water and evaporates quickly.

Put the phone in a bowl of rice, cover it from above and leave it overnight. Rice absorbs all the remaining moisture.

If none of the methods work, you probably have a short circuit in your phone. In this case, you will have to carry it for diagnostics to the nearest service center.
