Viber is available for installation on mostplatforms that are currently available for mobile devices, as well as for stationary computers and laptops. The application is available for smartphones that run on Android, iOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry OS, Symbian and Bada. For computers, the program can be installed on Windows, Linux and OS X.

When installing on a mobile device, the applicationsynchronizes with the address book of the device and integrates into its functionality. To make a call, just select the number in the address book, and then confirm the action by clicking on the Viber icon. Voice communication through the program is carried out over wireless networks Wi-Fi and 3G, with the fact that the call is free, and the user can pay only for Internet traffic.

When the program is first run, the userit is suggested to bind the phone number to the service, and then confirm the action using the sent activation code. The Viber connection service is free.
