This plant can be propagated in two ways: cuttings and seeds.

It is better to propagate the plant with cuttings from April to July. In this case, the plant should not bloom during the rooting period.

  • It is necessary to prepare the soil. Mix sand, sod and leaf ground in equal proportions, add to the mixture 1/10 coniferous humus and coal.
  • At the main plant choose a healthy stem with a rosette, cut with a sharp knife. The place of the cut must be sprinkled with charcoal and dried for 2 days.
  • Then cut the cutting into the prepared soil. Drizzle in moderation.
  • For good rooting, keep the temperature 20-25oC. Roots appear in 2-3 weeks.

For seed reproduction, the best period will be the end of summer.

Care
