From a design cardboard we cut out only oneworkpiece in the form of heart. This will be the bottom of the future box. The second workpiece (for the cover) needs to be cut out slightly more than the first one - about a couple of millimeters. This is done so that the lid can close our box and freely enter it.

From the same design cardboard we cut out 4Long strips in the form of long rectangles. These strips will serve as sidewalls - two strips near the box, and two - at the lid. The width of the strip will be the width of the gift box. Therefore, you yourself adjust the necessary size of the strips, so that your gift easily enters the box, and the lid is freely closed. To each side of each strip, we draw denticles, with which further gluing will take place.

We proceed to gluing together. Two strips of denticles are glued down to the lid, and two - to the box itself.

After gluing the box is ready. By itself, design cardboard is very beautiful and festive look, so it does not need to glue it. But inside the box will be visible denticles from gluing. To avoid this, we seal the inside of the box with colored paper. It is advisable that it would match the design cardboard or be paler.
