So, put before you a landscape sheethorizontally and pick up a hard pencil. Slightly touching the pencil to the sheet, outline the outline of the future horse: a pear-shaped head, an oval trunk and a rather wide neck. Smooth lines connect these sketches.

Further, in the same hard pencil, mark wherethere will be legs and a tail. Draw the lines, not straight lines, but with a slight bend (in the sequel you will get a drawing of a running horse). At this stage, strictly follow the proportions, so that the limbs do not turn out to be too long or short.

The next stage is the drawing of the muzzle of the animal. Accurately draw the nose and eyes, give the muzzle an elongated shape. Draw a little sharp ears triangular in shape.

Then try to draw your hind legs. The upper part of them should be quite voluminous, and the lower part - more elegant.

Now you can start drawing the front legs. Gently with a hard pencil draw a little tapering down legs, hooves.

The most interesting is the design of the mane and tail. At this stage, take a soft pencil and in small waves, starting from the top of the head and down to the bottom of the neck, draw a lot of curved lines to the side (to the tail). Their length should not extend farther than to the middle of the animal's body. Similarly, draw the tail with the same lines (the length of the tail should be slightly larger than the length of the mane).

The final stage is the removal of unnecessary lines andhatching. Gently erase unnecessary lines, then take a soft pencil and lightly shade the entire animal, then further darken the front and back of the neck, legs, tail and mane. The picture is ready.
