How to make a vase of threads
How to make a vase of threads
Often, knitters after work remains skeinthread, from which nothing can be connected, because it is too small. However, it is a pity to throw out the rest of the threads. I propose to carve out a bit of time in the day and make a very interesting and useful piece from the remaining threads - a vase. Such a product perfectly fits into any interior and will bring in it a unique note.
You will need
- - vase or bowl;
- - thread;
- - polyethylene;
- - PVA glue.
Instructions
1
Before starting to make crafts fromthread, you need to find the basis for which any vase or bowl is suitable. After finding suitable dishes, wrap it with a plastic bag. This must be done in order not to spoil the base, because you have to work with glue.
2
In a separate bowl, pour out the glue. Using a brush, apply a dense enough layer of glue on a tightly wrapped polyethylene bag base. After this procedure, in the remainder of the glue, moisten small pieces of thread. Pay attention, the thread must be well impregnated. By the way, glue PVA if you want can replace diluted starch.
3
Lubricate the base with glue, start wrapping the impregnated threads in random order. The density of the winding of the base depends only on what you want to get a vase in the end.
4
Having finished wrapping the base with a thread, give the future vase of time for complete drying. If you want to speed up this process, you can use a hairdryer.
5
After the product has completely dried, gently removeits off the ground. It remains only to remove the polyethylene bag from the craft. The vase of threads is ready! Its ideal to use for fruit or any other small things.
