How to make a Chinese paper lantern for the New Year with your own hands
Chinese paper lanterns are very easy to make, even a child can cope with this task. This decoration will not only transform the house to the New Year, but also create a special festive atmosphere in it.
You will need
- - colored paper or cardboard;

- - a pencil;
- - scissors;
- - clerical glue or transparent adhesive tape.
Instructions

To start, cut a square from a sheet of colored paper, then bend it in half and diagonally.

On the folded sheet perpendicular to the fold, markusing a pencil line cut - they must start from the very fold and do not reach the edge of the sheet for a couple of centimeters. Then cut the sheet along the lines.

Expand the sheet with cuts and fix its ends with a clerical glue or transparent tape.

Then you can start making a pen forflashlight - for this, take a paper of the same color as the flashlight itself, and cut out of it a narrow long strip. Cut out the striped strip to the New Year's decoration on both sides.

The finished Chinese paper lantern can be decorated with beads, rhinestones, sequins or bright ribbons.

Make a few more of these paper lanterns and hang them on the ribbon to make a New Year's garland.
