Install the drivers for your Wi-Fi adaptermobile computer. Go to the official website of the laptop developers. Click the Download Center tab or the Drivers tab. Enter the model name of the mobile computer and download the suggested utilities.

Install the driver and restarta laptop. Open the "Network and Sharing Center" or "Network Connections" menu. Go to the list of network connections. Right-click the wireless network icon and select Enable.

Open the "Manage wireless adapters" menu. Go to "Add" by pressing the appropriate key. After opening a new menu, click on "Create a network profile manually".

Fill in the suggested table. Enter the network name and enter the password. This data should exactly correspond to the parameter of the access point to which you want to connect the laptop. Select the security type (WEP, WPA) and specify the type of encryption (AES, TKIP).

Click the "Next" button and check the boxes next to it.with the items "Connect, even if there is no broadcasting of SSID" and "Automatically establish a connection". Save the connection settings and close the settings menu.

Open the list of network connections. Right click on the wireless adapter icon and select "Connect". Select the desired wireless access point and click the Connect button.

To create a computer-to-computer network, selectthe corresponding item in the Add Network menu. In this case, you can not use encryption at all, because this channel implies the connection of only two devices.
