Depending on the severity of the disease, a person recognized as an invalid is assigned 1, 2 or 3 disability groups. The decision to establish a disability, orrefusal is accepted by experts-experts on the majority of voices. The result and all explanations on this matter shall be immediately notified to the citizen who passed the examination, or his legal representative. If, for any reason, the composition of specialists can not take the necessary decision, then the person's examination certificate is sent to the main medical and social examination bureau. This is where the final decision on the issue is taken.

It is important to remember that identifying a person with a disabilityis considered from the date of receipt in the bureau of the application for the holding of the ITU. A citizen has the right to appeal against the decision of the bureau within a month by submitting a written application to the main office, which will conduct a second medical and social examination and, according to its results, make an appropriate decision. It is necessary to know that the decisions of the bureau can be appealed in a judicial procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
