State body, which in the RussianThe federation deals with cadastral accounting of real estate, is the Federal Service of State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography. The list of documented information about real estate objects and their owners is called the state register and is handled by a special department of this service - Rosreestr. After submitting the set package of documents to Rosreestr, your personal identification number is assigned to your land plot, a cadastral property plan is created, and you are issued with a cadastral passport of the established type.

The law fixes RosReestr not onlyobligation of cadastral registration, but also registration of property rights. The work of the Federal Service is clearly regulated by the Regulations on the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography, which was adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation in June 2009. According to him, the monopoly on cadastral registration in Russia belongs only to this state body. In addition to the central office, the Federal Service has territorial structural units, called the Rosreestr Departments for the subjects of Russia.
