The company "Safari Park Podisinki" back in June 2010year announced its intention to build the first safari park in Russia on the territory of the Moscow region. At 34 km south of Moscow, the company plans to accommodate the family resort "Moskovia". This is a whole city for entertainment and recreation, in which, in addition to the safari park, will enter the amusement park and hotel and tourist complex. After the declaration of intentions has passed two years, but so far the opening of the park does not go. In 2012, the Internet discussed the development projects Mnevnikovskoy floodplain. The idea of creating a safari park on this place attracted attention. It was her Internet users who recognized the brightest. According to the designers, Mnevnikovskuyu floodplain was supposed to be surrounded by a high fence, and inside, through the green zone, to build a road. Those wishing to communicate with wildlife had to travel through the territory in cars. Along the road it was planned to place spacious aviaries with animals - representatives of fauna from different natural areas. Tourists could see bisons, deer, wolves, lamas, ostriches and monkeys living in their natural habitat. In addition to cars, it was planned to use several more modes of transport. Running rafts were to run along artificial channels, and cable cars with closed cabins could be used by those wishing to look at animals from above. And recently, at the end of July 2012, the Department of Nature Management and Environmental Protection of Moscow considered the idea of building such a safari park is not in Mnevnikovskaya floodplain, but in the village Leninskie Gorki. It is located in the north of the capital, near the city of Domodedovo. The park concept remained the same as in the previous place. When asked about the opening of the Safari Park in the Moscow region, Anna Khitrova, the department spokeswoman, did not mention any specific dates. She referred to the fact that today its construction is "just an idea".
