Ways to print on T-shirts
Beautiful t-shirts with colorful designs alreadyFor a long time are not unusual. But if you yourself decided to start producing such T-shirts, you just need to find out about the ways in which you can paint on a jersey. Some of them are suitable for individual production, while others are only for industrial and mass production.
Instructions
1
Screen printing is a great way, providing a decent result. The problem is that you will need rather expensive equipment, but if you plan to produce one-figure shirts with a print run of 100 units or more, screen printing will be a very good solution.
2
There are special printers for printing onTissue. This is an interesting and promising way, but the price of the device and supplies is quite high. Nevertheless, the print is stable and colorful.
3
Thermal transfer - printing with a thermal transfer. The image is applied by transferring it from the carrier to the fabric by means of a thermo-press. The cost of the press varies depending on how good it is, and also on its type: the press is folding or turning. Also, thermal transfer can be laser, inkjet, stencil or film. Depending on the subspecies, the quality of the picture and the cost of its application will vary greatly.
4
Inkjet transfer. With this method, the printing is carried out with ordinary ink on the printer, sometimes even on the home, but on special paper. Paper is applied to the fabric image down and placed under the thermo-press. This is one of the most affordable and cheapest ways to put a picture on a T-shirt. But its disadvantage is that the image turns out unstable, it gradually burns out and is washed out in the process of socks and washing things.
5
Sublimation is another method of thermal transfer, withWhich uses an inkjet printer, but, unlike the previous method, special sublimation colors are required here. From household printers only EPSON is suitable, as only this brand has suitable print heads. If you use plain paper, the image on the T-shirt gets worse, so it's better to take a special one. The fabric is more expedient to use with a high synthetics content, not less than 70%. For printing on natural cotton fabrics, special films should be used, otherwise sublimation will not hold. Nevertheless, the sublimation printing method has many advantages: the image is extremely durable, bright and colorful. Start the business of printing on T-shirts using the sublimation method can be done with minimal costs.
6
Laser transfer practically does not differ frominkjet. You also need special transfer paper and paints, but you can print on both cotton fabrics and synthetic fabrics. The firmness of this image is relatively low. It is much lower than under sublimation printing.
7
Stencil transfer resembles the usualscreen printing, but the transfer of the image is first made on paper and only then on the fabric. This is more convenient, since it is possible to prepare in advance many of the stencil sheets and then print on the fabric, no longer thinking about choosing colors and drawings.
8
Thermal transfer by means of film application -A method that allows you to get the most stable image. The starting material is a film that has an adhesive layer. When the transfer is done, it melts a little and "tightens" onto the fabric.
