Obtaining permits for building The housing construction is regulated by the Urban Development Code of the Russian Federation. To obtain resolution, it is necessary to prepare a package of documents and perform a series of consistent actions.

For permission, you must contactdepartment of architecture and town planning of your area. Preliminarily get an extract from the cadastral passport of the land plot and a copy of the cadastral plan. If your site has buildings or a dilapidated dwelling house, you will need to obtain an extract from the cadastral passport and a copy of the cadastral plan of the buildings, which is issued to the technical inventory office.

In addition to these statements, you must write an application for a permit for building, present title documents to the site and buildings, as well as submit a draft and a sketch at home and engineering communications (Article 48 of the Urban Development Code of the Russian Federation).

The project and the sketch must be performed by a licensedarchitect. You can call the architect from the district department of architecture and town planning or from any private company that has a state license for the design of construction projects.

In the department of architecture you will be issued a document onproject coordination of construction. It lists all the organizations that should put their resolution and seal. First of all, you must visit the district utility systems and get the signature and seal of the head of the district communal services in the appropriate box. Then, coordinate the document with the district fire department. Lastly, get a resolution from the head of the local administration.

Provide an agreed document to the department.architecture and town planning. You will be issued a construction passport, which will indicate the place of building, number of storeys and the permissible height of the building. Also you will be given resolution on buildingsigned by the chief architect of the city or district.

Received documents you must reserve inlocal administration. When building, clearly observe the red line and height determined by the architecture. These are the main parameters, if non-observance of which the structure will not be possible to put into operation.

The permit is issued for a period of 10 years. If during this period you did not manage to complete the house and put it into operation, then contact the Architecture and Urban Development Department to extend resolution.
